I have to have surgery on my foot tomorrow morning (metal plate and possible screw) for a lisfranc injury (if I were a professional athlete I'd be out of a career with this injury thankfully I'm not). I've got several books to read and a few coloring books and of course my laptop to keep me busy but I like to have the tv running in the background as I multitask. So I post the question of what shows have you binged on Netflix? I'd like some suggestions. I've already finished Stranger Things.
Recovery is going to be a long one. 2 months of no weight on my foot followed by 2 months of only 50% weight and I'll essentially have to relearn how to walk as my calf muscle will atrophy while my foot heals.
Mostly Fantasy and comedy I can handle things like Supernatural though (bf is making his way through I've only missed this last season whereas I've got him up to season 6 or 7 now).
Disenchantment was one of those mixes of fantasy and comedy that I liked.
As for comedies, I'd recommend Jane the Virgin, Arrested Development, Parks and Rec, Russian Doll, Aggretsuko, One Punch Man and watching the third season of Riverdale ironically.
If you want more anime recommendations then there's Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and if you really want a bad time, Neon Genesis Evangelion is on Netflix now, which is not for everyone but I feel obligated to recommend.
And as for movies, if you haven't watched Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, you need to drop everything and watch it right now.
Im at my bf's in recovery now. My insurance is only approving half the quantity of meds perscribed so I am having to pay out of pocket & one med (hydrocodone they're completely denying). I supposedly have the best insurance in TX & they still suck!
Also just found out I need another unrelated surgery and have scheduled that for August 16. Ugh
