Those of you that have been praying for my friend's baby girl, Donna who has Trisomy 18, half of Donna's little heart couldn't keep up with the other and she passed away July 31st. Her parents are still asking for donations to bring her body home from the hospital for cremation.

Food: For Living vampires, having an allergy to garlic is a pain in the ass. Humans love to cook with it, and, well, Living vampires need to eat. The allergy is life-threatening in all but very small amounts. Touching garlic, so long as it isn't "bleeding", will only cause some skin irritation, but ingesting or injecting it is deadly. In the early days of his experimental treatments (teen years), trace amounts of garlic were used in his emergency injections as a suppressant. So garlic is a huge dislike. He's also not a huge fan of red meat.
Mav loves pizza, but can't eat it because of garlic in the sauces and whatnot. His mother used to make a special pizza when he was young and he hasn't been able to safely eat the stuff since. Potato crisps are a go-to, as well as Belgian waffles, a treat introduced to him when he moved in with Lucas (Meep). He'd eat waffles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if he could!
Music:
Movies: Mavron is not a fan of horror movies and thrillers. Not only are they triggering for him, but he can't understand why anyone would want to voluntarily subject themselves to terror and apprehension. He's much more a fan of "chick flicks", underdog feel-good movies, and kids' movies.
Books: Books! Mavron has a much easier time with books than he does with movies and television. Violence in books doesn't bother him. He prefers books that are written in first person as that's more natural to him. Third-person books are frustrating, especially those that don't have many of the protagonist's thoughts. They feel unnatural and cold, as though he were deaf. Fantasy novels are fun; seeing how humans imagine the supernatural developing on different worlds is interesting. It's a little sad that they seem to be restricted to Tolkien-esque high fantasy, but hey. What are you gonna do.
